Abs of Steel

So I'm developing quads of steel on the slopes.

Meanwhile, youtube apres-dinner (aha) is making out abs of steel.

The funniest thing I have seen in a while.

Stein Eriksen Lodge

Shortly after I touched down in Salt Lake, J. mentioned the buffet at Stein Eriksen.

I am not a huge buffet person unless it's Souplantation. I've never even been to a buffet in Vegas.

Ski-in.

It definitely was worth it.

The best seafood I have ever seen at a buffet. I have never been so glad to have been a vegetarian (pescetarian for all you ornery ones).

And the dessert buffet. Kind of insane. KIND OF INSANE. If you take breaks while eating the chocolate decadence, you can actually finish a slice. And the peach cobbler. Yum.

The cutest Spanish kids sitting behind us. A huge group of 15. The nanny was in a nanny get up, sitting in a chair by the window. No food for her.

Contrast: all the white families inviting their ski instructors to dine with them.

Bow Ties

The Hwangs went to Christmas service at St. Bartholomew.

The pew in front of us had the most adorable family - father and 2 sons all wearing bow ties.

I can't help if it if I swoon over a dapper man wearing a bowtie. It's class, it's understated.

I'm also not talking about a clip-on bow tie. This is the kind that you actually tie yourself. Learn it. Love it.
